Install on macOS

StreamX ships as a universal binary that runs natively on both Intel and Apple Silicon Macs (M1 / M2 / M3+).

Before you begin

• macOS 12 Monterey or later
• About 100 MB of free disk space

Step 1 — Download the DMG

Open /downloads and pick macOS Universal (.dmg) — marked Recommended.

Step 2 — Mount and drag to Applications

1. Double-click the downloaded .dmg file
2. Drag the StreamX icon into the Applications folder shortcut
3. Eject the disk image from the desktop

Step 3 — First launch

The first time you open StreamX, macOS Gatekeeper may say it can't verify the developer:

1. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security
2. Scroll to the Security section
3. Click Open Anyway next to the StreamX entry
4. Confirm with Open in the dialog

You only have to do this once.

Step 4 — Activate your license

Same as Windows: copy the key from /licenses and paste it into the activation screen.
